Background
The King’s Health Partners Colorectal Cancer Biobank was established in 2016 and recruit’s donors from the Cancer and Surgery Clinics at Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS Trust.
Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer worldwide and fourth most common in the UK with 43,000 new cases diagnosed annually. The King’s Health Partners Colorectal Cancer Biobank can offer a unique resource, the opportunity for high impact translational research on an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse population. To date, tissue and data has been shared with academic and commercial collaborators.
