Background

Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN) are a range of blood disorders which affect the body’s production of blood cells.  There are three main types of MPN disorders: Essential Thrombocythemia, Polycythaemia Vera, and Myelofibrosis.  The Biobank collects samples from these main subtypes as well as from patients with rarer diagnoses.

The Myeloproliferative Neoplasm Biobank has over 10,000 individual patient samples since 2016, and is growing steadily.
