About Us
Small actions make big impact
King’s Health Partners Cancer Biobank collects samples and data from patients attending Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust. The Breast Biobank started in 1975 whereas Bladder and Colorectal Cancers are more recent additions. However, regardless of whether Cancer or not, all samples and data are handled in a standardised way, with quality at the heart of what we do. This creates a streamlined biobanking service that is sensitive to the patients, flexible to change in clinical practice but reactive to the scientific community.
