Imad Ahmed MSc BSc
Breast Advanced Practitioner

I started my career as a Biomedical Scientist after successfully completed my Biochemistry BSc degree from the North London University, followed by PgC Biomedical Sciences from Westminster University and MSc in Histopathology from Imperial College London. I am responsible for the organisation and coordination of the dissection of the Breast biobank as Advanced Practitioner. I'm also involved in some breast research projects.

Before joining the KHP Cancer Biobank, I worked in well renown specialist hospitals including the Institution of Lung Pathology (Royal Brompton Hospital) and the Royal Marsden Hospital, as a research Biomedical Scientist involved in managing and organising both internal and the external (ICR and CRUK) projects. 

I have also worked as a Senior BMS in the St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, delivering a high-quality diagnostic dermatological immunopathology service . As a senior BMS, I have provided a highly specialised clinical technical, reporting and advisory service as well as duties such as service development, audit, training and management activities.
