Myeloproliferative Neoplasm Sample Types
KHP MPN Cancer Biobank holds blood, bone marrow, and associated data from patients diagnosed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust since 2016.
Blood samples collected are processed and stored in the following derivatives: whole blood, white blood cells, PBMCs, serum, and plasma. We also have the capacity to collect and store bone marrow samples for research projects.
Whole blood and derivatives have associated pathological data and patient demographic, clinical and follow-up information accompanying them. Samples are stored within our state-of-the-art facility and are available to researchers upon request.
Academic Lead: Prof Claire Harrison
