The King’s Health Partners Renal Cancer Biobank was established in 2017 to collect samples and data from patients diagnosed or treated at the Urology Centre of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Kidney cancer is the 7th most common cancer in the UK, with approximately 13,000 new cases diagnosed each year in the UK.

The biobank’s collection includes tissue and blood samples, along with comprehensive pathological data, patient demographics, clinical details, and follow-up information, covering a range of renal cancer types.

Applications to access the biobank’s samples or data are accepted from investigators in both academic and commercial sectors.
