The King’s Health Partners Colorectal Cancer Biobank was established in 2016, recruiting donors from the Oncology and Surgery Clinics at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. The biobank contains a range of tissue samples, along with associated pathological data, patient demographics, clinical details, and follow-up information from patients with various types of colorectal cancer.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer worldwide and the fourth most common in the UK, with approximately 43,000 new cases diagnosed annually.

The King’s Health Partners Colorectal Cancer Biobank offers a unique resource for translational research on a diverse ethnic and socioeconomic population.
