Lymphoma and Leukaemia
The Lymphoma and Leukaemia Biobank was established in early 2020. While its initial focus was on lymphoma, the biobank has since broadened its scope to include chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and other blood cancer types, such as Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS), Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL), and Monoclonal B-cell Lymphocytosis (MBL).

In the UK, approximately 4,000 people are diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) each year, making it the most common form of chronic leukaemia. The Biobank collects blood samples, along with extensive pathological data, patient demographics, clinical information, and follow-up details, from patients treated at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Applications to access the biobank’s samples or data are accepted from investigators in both academic and commercial sectors.
