Rahil Mohammadian

‘Rahil is a Biomedical Scientist with over a decade of hands on experience in diagnostic and pathology laboratories. She graduated from the Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in Iran with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and began her professional career in 2015 at a university-affiliated teaching hospital in Iran , working in a high-throughput diagnostic laboratory environment.

She has extensive experience across pathology and diagnostic services, developing strong expertise in laboratory workflows, quality standards, and advanced biomedical techniques. She also has been involved in a large population-based biobank, part of the Persian cohort study for long-term biomedical research in southwest Iran.

In 2024, she achieved HCPC registration in the United Kingdom, marking a significant milestone in her international professional journey .

Rahil moved to London with her partner in 2025 to join the KHP Cancer Biobank at Guy’s Cancer Centre as a Senior Biobank Technician, where she applies her clinical and laboratory expertise to support research-focused and translational biomedical work.

Outside of her professional work, she has a keen interest in travel and cultural exploration.
